Summer 2012 Photo Booth California Update!

Summer on the Central Coast of California has brought some amazing weather and incredible events for the BlueBird PhotoBooth!  
 
Micha and Abe had a quaint and beautiful reception at a private residence in Edna Valley with immaculate gardens and vineyards.  The night couldn't have been more perfect!  Upper Crust catered the event and wowed the guests with great food, as usual (thanks for feeding us!).  I know they worked hard all night...but I did catch a few of them in the Photo Booth!  This was our first time working with Jonathan of Blue Photo, a true photographic talent who's work we've admired for some time.  If you haven't seen his work, make sure you do.  Can't wait to see the photo's Jonathan!

Our Santa Barbara Photo Booth spent July 4 at the Montecito Country Club, where they threw a huge party on a grassy hilltop overlooking Santa Barbara, and where the guests had a perfect view of the fireworks.

The night was elegant and beautiful, and we had the great fortune to spend some time with old friends.  It was a family affair with young and old alike enjoying the views, killer food by the MCC kitchen, bounce houses, face painting and our Santa Barbara Photo Booth.  Trina, our Graphics Wizard, created a custom 4th of July logo for the prints which looked amazing.  Thank you Claire and Justin for another great night at MCC!

Pomar Junction Photo Booth San Luis Obispo

We had the privilege of setting up the Bluebird PhotoBooth at Pomar Junction Vineyard and Winery in Templeton, California for their Parlour Club Mardi Gras Pickup Party on February 12, 2012.  Pomar Junction is one of SLO County’s finest wineries and event locations.  The Earth Day Food and Wine Festival 2012, a huge event featuring over 200 purveyors of sustainably produced food and wine, will held be at Pomar Junction on April 21.  Like wine and food?  You definitely need to go to Earth Day.
Pomar Junction Winery treats its wine club members to numerous free wine and food events throughout the year.  The weather this past Sunday for their Mardi Gras event was outstanding, with frost at dawn and a cold overcast morning that cleared to beautiful sunshine.  The party featured a jambalaya feast provided by Stein’s BBQ and Catering that was outstanding.  The portions were huge, the quality was top notch, and the family business was a delight to work with.  Delicious cupcakes by The Sweet Life Cupcakery adorned the dessert table.  To top off the day, the Mother Corn Shuckers treated the guests to melodic acoustic riffs of folk and bluegrass.  We packed the band into the Bluebird Photobooth for a finale to the day.  Thank you to all who participated, we had a great time and so did over 300 guests!

The Loft Photo Booth Santa Barbara

Want to find a super cool venue for your next party?  Check out THE LOFT in Santa Barbara's Funk Zone.  It is a one of a kind art studio venue created by two local Santa Barbara entrepreneurs.  With high ceilings, concrete floors and an iron-rail circular staircase to the upstairs loft, its design is art and its function is practical.  It is a live work space that is now being made available to the public.  We threw up our Santa Barbara Photo Booth there last year for a birthday party and had a great night.  Check out a few pics from our booth attendants and spread the word!
